A. The only one I know of are earthquakes because it is situated on the Mediterranean Sea and it is slowly being closed up as Africa moves closer to Europe on a collision course with that continent.

A. Volcanic eruptions. Mt. St. Helens eruption 1980 is a good for a start. Though quite rare in Wash State - they do get Tornadoes. 1972 has a particularly devastating ones (though tame by Oklahoma standards) 6 deaths and over 300 injuries.
